Ramnagar Fortरामनगर किला

The sandstone fort of the Maharajas of Banaras, built in 1750 by Raja Balwant Singh on the far bank opposite Tulsi Ghat. Its Saraswati Bhawan museum keeps vintage cars, palanquins, arms and an astronomical clock; every autumn the month-long Ramnagar Ramlila unfolds around it.
