It covers more than 3 lakh square feet and seats about 20,000 people for meditation. Verses of the Swarved are carved into its white marble walls, framed in carved pink sandstone beneath lotus domes.

The Swarved is the spiritual treatise of Sadguru Sadafal Deo Ji Maharaj (1888–1954), founder of Vihangam Yoga, recording his realisations of the union of the soul with the Supreme Soul. The trust describes the Mahamandir as that text made into a building, open to seekers of every background.
