St. Mary's Church, Cantonmentसेंट मैरी चर्च, छावनी

The oldest church in Varanasi and among the oldest Protestant churches in north India: foundation laid in April 1810 by the chaplain Daniel Corrie, completed in 1812. A low tower, a spire and louvred doors in the shade of the Cantonment's old trees; Queen Elizabeth II worshipped here on her 1961 visit.
