Pilgrims complete the trikon parikrama, a triangle of three shrines: Vindhyavasini, the Kalikhoh cave temple of Maha Kali and the hilltop Ashtabhuja temple of Maha Saraswati. Both Navratris draw enormous crowds. The Vindhya Corridor, a widened parikrama path around the temple whose foundation stone was laid in August 2021, is still being completed.

In the Durga Saptashati the Devi foretells that she will be born to Yashoda and then dwell on the Vindhya hills. Here she is worshipped as Lakshmi, with Kali and Saraswati in the two shrines of the triangle.
