Gurudwara Guru Ka Baghगुरुद्वारा गुरु का बाग़

Marks the garden where Guru Nanak stopped on his visit to Kashi at Shivaratri in 1507 and spoke with the city's pandits about devotion without outward marks. The white-marble gurudwara on Guru Nanak Road at Gurubagh was begun in 1969 for his 500th birth anniversary.

Tips

  • Cover your head and remove shoes; langar is open to everyone.
  • It is at Gurubagh crossing, between Rathyatra and Luxa.
