Pedestrian-friendly streets, new sewers and drainage, and organised vending zones around the Buddhist site were inaugurated by the Prime Minister; food-street hubs at Sarnath and Maidagin followed. On 25 July 2026 the 'Ancient Buddhist Site, Sarnath' was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, India's 45th, and construction within 100 m of the heritage zone is now barred.

- ଲାଲ ବାହାଦୁର ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ବିମାନବନ୍ଦରରୁ ସିଧା ରେଖାରେ 18.4 କି.ମି.
- ଗୋଦୌଲିଆ ଛକ, ଯେଉଁଠି ପୁରୁଣା ସହର ପାଇଁ ଗାଡ଼ି ଅଟକେରୁ ସିଧା ରେଖାରେ 8.1 କି.ମି.
ଏଗୁଡ଼ିକ ସିଧା ରେଖାର ଦୂରତା; ଗଳି ଦେଇ ସଡ଼କ ପଥରେ ଦୂରତା ଏହାଠାରୁ ଅଧିକ।
