We measure visits with Google Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics so that we know which pages help people, and the site keeps a few small preferences in your browser so that it remembers your language and sound choice.

Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-G6VN84753L) loads after the page has finished loading. It sets two first-party cookies, each kept for up to two years: _ga, which tells visits from different browsers apart, and _ga_G6VN84753L, which keeps the state of a visit. It records the pages you view, your approximate location (city or region), your device and browser type, and the site that referred you. According to Google, Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. Google explains how it uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and you can block Google Analytics on every site with the browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Cloudflare Web Analytics measures page views and loading times with a small script from static.cloudflareinsights.com; according to Cloudflare it does not use cookies or local storage and does not fingerprint visitors. Cloudflare also hosts and protects the site, so like any web host it receives your IP address and browser details with each request, for delivery and security; see cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

Besides the Google Analytics cookies above, the site stores only these, and none of them identifies you:

• NEXT_LOCALE (cookie): the language of the pages you last visited, so the site opens in it next time.
• kashi:sound (local storage): whether you turned the ambient sound on. Sound is always off until you switch it on.
• kashi:fonts (session storage): that the page fonts have already loaded in this tab, so the next page does not wait for them. It is cleared when you close the tab.

When you open a map, your browser loads map tiles from OpenStreetMap's tile servers, which receive your IP address as part of that request (osmfoundation.org/wiki/Privacy_Policy). Photos and fonts are served from kashidwar.com itself.

Many pages link to official sources, temple trusts, government sites and news reports. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which apply once you follow a link.

This site shows ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
